Default vapor separator issues

I have a 502 EFI and when i turned the key this afternoon no
noise was heard from the VST. Any suggestions?

un plug the connector for the fuel pump going into the v.s.t and put 12 volts directly to the pump either with a power probe or jumper leads and see if the pump turns on

ok... i take it the black is ground? If it kicks on when i do that.... what does that
mean?

when I first turn the key on today I heard it kick on... I didn't crank the motor and turned
the key back off. When i turn the key on again about 10 minutes
later..... nothing.

There is a relay in the wiring harness that turns the pump on and off. If the pump is running intermittently, they you prob. have a relay going bad. Try jumping the pump directly as mentioned and see if it runs. If it does, then with the pump still unplugged, put a volt meter or test light in the power lead going to the pump and turn the key on. If it doesn't show +12v, then check the relay. You should be able to hear it clicking when the key is turned on.

ok is the black wire the ground? It has,a black wire
and a white wire that go into the top of pump....Im just making sure
because I don't want to short anything out. thanks.
