Default Any idea where TEAM THUNDER comes from?

I have an older 96 Baja that has the decals TEAM THUNDER on it on both sides. Any ideas on what that relates to by chance? All of my internet searches have been empty. Thanks for all of your replies.

Down here in the Tampa/St.Pete area of Florida there was a huge Baja dealer named "Thunder Marine"....My used Baja, 2 of my friend's used Baja's and all the Baja's that run around here in this area were from probably from there, and they all had 'TEAM THUNDER" on both sides of the boats!!!!

Good question, my 28 Apache had a team thunder sticker also. I was told that there was an outfit around jersey back in the day that was rigging hulls with Hawk power and labelling them as ' Team Thunder'. --(red sticker)

What's the real story?

Thanks 1stOutlaw. I believe you are correct. The guy I bought the boat from a few years ago was around the Florida area when he built the motor and whatnot. How did you get that info and do you have a sight to where I could contact these guys for replacement decals? Delsol, do your decals have Team Thunder with a lightning bolt through a checkered flag? AWESOME!

Yes the logo was red with a thunder bolt down the center. I removed them from the 28 when i got it. Why not just trace the sticker on a piece of paper and take to your local sign shop? I'm sure they could make you one while you waited for $10...

Or even easier take a picture and they can copy it from that.

Yeah I have thought of that. I need the decal since it is "burned" into the hull with discoloration when I removed part of 1.
