Default Merc 1075 Roller Hyd

Can a merc 1075 be converted to roller hyd cam, and still maintain close to original HP rating.

Thanks

soggy,

The Merc 1075 cams are very conservative lobes. A properly configured hydraulic roller system can meet/exceed the specific output of the original 1075 package.

Thanks for responding Bob, do you know of a grind that works and has been proven, or is this a one off thing, if it is I can't believe this has not been done before, adjusting the lash on 32 valves in a cramped area, is not my idea of enjoyable power boating.

FWIW anecdotal evidence from Internet people seems to suggest that solid rollers never move.

the lash might not move much, but they still need to be checked every so many hours,in side by side application, thats no fun.
