Default Help with corsa exhaust please!!!!

I have installed the corsa diverters the boat. The diverters and the mercruiser y-pipe are oval. What do I use to connect the two? I put a section of 4 inch normal exhaust hose on it but even with clamps it doesn't look like it is going to seal?

Thanks in advance.

You should be able to use a stock merc exhaust hose for the Y pipe unless you need a different length, I used a radiator hose from a cat bulldozer. About 3.5" diameter softwall hose is stock. Randy

I installed Corsa diverters when I went from a 7.4 to a 8.2L (502). The Y pipe was as you say oval but the standard mercruiser boots fit and there has been no leaks using the standard hose clamps. Had to pull the engine twice since the original install due to other issues but it went gack together without a problem. Diverters have been installed about 7 years total.

Check eBay or your local boat repair shop. The rubber boots that are used with any thru-prop application are what you need, and they already have the oval shape to them. There should be plenty of them laying around from old boats and from people that switched over to transom exhaust. If no luck there, let me know - I may have an extra set put up in my garage.
