Hi a budy of mine just bought a 1983 32 se and we were curious of any info any one might have on these boats. Hull materials, HP and speed to expect any any one that has tryed diffrent props? Any thing would be greatly appreciated. Are only experences is with 23 and smaller single screws. leave a post or email dierct Charlie. [email protected]

The 32 was tested in july '93 Hot Boat with 502 EFI's, 1.36 Bravo 1's,spinning 25" mirage props. They had 57 MPH @ 3500 RPM. In March '97 Hot Boat, another 32 was tested with 502 EFI Volvo's with 470 HP @prop each, 1:48 outdrives, and Duoprop 3-blades. They reached 85.8 @5400 RPM on radar. Power Boating Canada, Vol II,#3 also tested a 32 with 502 Volvo's that were 500 HP ea, 1.59 outdrives to Duoprops also. They recorded 86 MPH @5300 RPM, also on radar. Factory has placed 840 HP V-8's with arenson surface drives in a 32 with 122 MPH on radar as result. Factory used surface drives on a number of 32's in the 80's. I don't know about 32 from '83, but later 32's had vacuum bagged hulls.

Sorry, forgot to mention the 32 in '93 Hot Boat had 80 MPH top end.

I have that 122 mph hull now and just finished it - put 625 hp bulldogs in it with extension boxes and bravos
this will be the first weekend it will be seen all cleaned up and ready again after all these years
