this question is for you guys with 415 hp 502 efi engines,what water temp do you normally run at?

I just converted mine to FWC. It runs at a steady 160 no matter where the throttle is. It will creep up to 170 if I come off plane quickly, but goes back down to normal within less than a minute. Before the conversion it ran around 145.

The Mercruiser 165 degree thermostat is what we install in them.

165-170 at cruise and about 175 running hard.
