Default Push-On hose for fuel plumbing?

I'm spec'ing out a new fuel setup for my 502Mag (**** you, VST) and am wondering if the push-on hose and fittings is good in this service.

I like the clean appearance and it's cheaper than SS braided.

Thanks, Cole

I have had it on mine for around 7 years now without one issue. Mine is on the whole system from tank all the way around with return line from regulator. Now don't ask if its Coast Guard compliant.

I ordered mine all from summit racing. After all the elbows and connectors it was not cheap. Not counting the Aeromotive pump, filters and check valve.

Can be done and still be Coast Guard compliant.

I don't think they approve of those hoses.

The Teleflex fuel hose 16-368-0386 for 3/8 fuel line and the 16-386-0126 for 1/2 ect ect is Coast Guard approved and works well with push lock fittings when you ban clamp them. It is the new hose for ethanal fuels and we use it on all our builds.

+1

And for the record, stainless braided is not USCG approved.

All I seem to be able to find is the Sierra equivalent, anyone got a link to genuine teleflex stuff?

Am I correct in thinking that I do not need any clamps to go with these fittings? If not, someone please correct me.

I get my Teleflex hose at the Boaters Value store and band clamping is a must on the 3/8 hose but I still do it on all sizes. Let me know what hose size and I will give you the correct band clamp numbers.
