Default Basset Header ?

Hi, I've come across a good deal on a set of fully jacketed basset headers. I know nothing of them. Just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience... They were on a 38 Fountain with 572's running 106mph. Don't think the guy is a b.s.er. I've done a search on these and can't find anything about them...

Thanks

I did. The ones I'm after are more of a long tube header... But I'm looking for some first hand experience. Are they junk? Do they crack after 2 years? Are they the best thing since sliced bread?

If they are long tube headers ....Are you sure they aren't just water injected...Just looked at their website and i see they do make a tri y full jacketed. The only Bassets i'm familier with are the old water injected long tubes ...which are not for below deck ....Do you have a picture of the ones you are looking at

These are fully jacketed. Believe me I know what I'm looking at. And they take almost two people two carry one header with the tail pipe attached. They look almost identical to a Stellings green but they are basset.

No they are not tri y. They look just like Stellings. 36" primaries all tuned fully jacketed. Water never touches the exhaust it is dumped over board. Have 02 bungs in them.

I've owned a bunch of cmi stuff and these really put them to shame. The tubes are 2 1/8" they come with air actuated mufflers. I think I might pull the trigger on them if I can make them fit in my boat...

I got a set with a project12 years ago . I think they were made in the 80's mine had issues so I sold them on EBay for $100.00 they looked nice but had internal cracking. unless they are dirt cheap I would pass.
