exhaust temperature on 525
Not sure if I have a problem or not but checked the exhaust on my 525 and noticed the port side running a lot hotter then the starboard side. The pipe is cool around the exhaust port (can hold my hand around it all day) but gets very hot as it rises to meet at the collector tube. When I say hot I mean you can only touch the pipe for a second. This happens at all RPMs and doesn't seem to change. The temperature gauge is reading 150 degrees. Is this cause for concern? Any idea what the temperature should be on that riser as I was going to check it with an infrared thermometer?

That is not normal. It sounds to me like there may be a blockage somewhere in the raw water side, or possibly the seapump is getting weak. I would start by pulling the side covers off the heat exchanger, take a look at the inside for any debris. Then start pulling hoses. If nothing is found, I would check that header for a blockage.
