Default 2o12 dodge cummins

Hi all looking at trading my 11 f150 for a real good deal on a 2012
2500 slt, looking for feedback from guys who have one. What kinda fuel economy are you getting, will it be much different from the ecoboost. I'm averaging 15 km /100, can't do the conversion for you guys south of the border. Thanks pat

You're stepping back as far as interior comforts go but there will be no comparison in towing. The new Dodges are nice and tow wonderfuly but are loaded with emisions junk. Dont expect more than 18mpg unloaded.

I just bought a mega cab 2500 2013 ram and did a ton or research. Yes the 2012 get terrible mileage for a diesel. That is because they go into regeneration all the time. The 2013 has the def fliud and an extra 200 ft lbs of torque. I love the truck and have 2000 miles on it. I adverage about 20.5 city and highway.

They would give me 32k for the f150 with 75 km on it and the new dodge list for a little over 70 K but they will sell it for 57k...seems like a decent deal

The 2013 on the highway gets me 25.5 at 65 mph. Research the 2012 and the regeneration modes and you will the difference. Plus the 13 gets a 200 ft lb torque increase.
