Default Should I stripe it or not......

She should be here next wed. Woo Hoo, can't wait. I have been patiently shopping for 1 for the last 3-4 years. It's a 2009 SRT-10 Convertible, with 4,000 miles on it. And it is in showroom condition.

Now I need to get rid of the wife's Jag.

Yeah I'm really torn, a few others that I looked at, had the shelby stripes and they looked good, but I know IF I do stripe it, I'm afraid that they would have to clear the whole hood and trunk lid!

A buddy tricked out his with Gregg Goode heads and cam package. He was debating the same thing and ended up holding off and put the money into 5pts instead.

www.dipyourcar.com

Add some stripes that peel right off if you don't like them. It's cheap and easy, and if done right; can look really good.

That would be the right way to do it - or you could also go vinyl but I wouldnt on such a nice car.

Yes you would have to bury in clear. A good shop could do them in a high quality vinyl and they actually look good plus you can remove if it grows old. I kinda like the looks of a matte finish stripe on some cars. Nice ride Dean!

that stuff is pretty cool... thinking about doing the boat sides just to see what it looks like.. don't like then peel it off.. Gets a little better adhesion once on for a couple weeks, but still comes off by peeling.. I watched a few videos...... :-)

Thanks GD, here's couple of more pics of her. I went and test drove her last weekend, ran her up to ~170 to blow the cobwebs out of the exhaust! The car has been sitting for couple of months....
