I have a set of cylinder heads off a 502 bbc cast iron just been used about two hours and took them off to install new aluminum afr heads. I really would like to sell these heads and have no idea how much they are worth. Can someone please tell me what would be a fair price for them. Nothing special about the heads except for stronger and stiffer valve springs. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If they are GM rect ports, then probably $500-700 for a set.
Shipping them is a killer due to the weight.

Are they off of a black motor or a blue (HP500, 525, etc) motor? That will have some bearing on value, because the blue motors had the exhaust valves replaced with Manley inconel for high performance applications. There seems to be some disagreement on whether the black motors have inconel valves, but I have talked to people at Mercury Racing who have told me that only the blue motors got the upgraded valves, and the black motors are running whatever GM put in them, which may or may not be an inconel valve.

also,, the HP merc heads received 2.25 intake valves, standard heads from GM were 2.19.

They are off a black motor and ill have to check the ports and see which ones they are. I would sell them for $400 plus the ride if someone is interrested. Thanks guys for all the relpies I can always count on you all for the best answers and help for sure. I can measure the valves also and see which size they are if anyone is interrested. I have torn my drive up and trying to get some extra money to get it going again for the summer time. It has no forward only reverse and i need to replace the upper gears LOL.
