I looked at one of those. They have huge freeboard. If can't do a full dip, you'd be stuck in these boats.

and they stab a buncha holes in the sides with a forklift so it cannot be used, then essentially give it away. I doubt it could be legally registered and run much like a battleship, F-4 phantom or any other demilitarized craft.

Missed the "Holes"... maybe that's why he is trying to sell it or regain some lost profits......

So this guy dumped 18 grand into a boat with holes in the side and no title? I feel better about my money pit already

I am sure that he would have no problems getting the thing registered, there are many states that are so lax when it comes to watercraft he could have a vin and title in days of any manufacture he chooses.

Its been done. Boat was called "Declassified"...big power and custom paint...I remember seeing it in a magazine and at Smoke on the Water...but I think it was eventually sold off and scrapped. It was a cool-looking ride.
