Default Screws for exhaust tips?

Hey guys, I just ordered some new tips and they don't come with any screws. Does anyone know what size to use, how thick and how long? Thanks in advance

Depends on the thickness of your transom...just buy the same ones that your taking off of the boat now.

I would wait till you get them, they should have bevelled holes in them, buy the ones that the head of the screw best fits the hole, stainless 1 to 1 1/4 inch should be fine, and seal them well

Can you through bolt the tips? If the holes line up?

if holes line up you should definitely thru bolt them. you can get 1/4 20tainless with the beveled Phillips head. since holes are probly 5/15ths for the 1/4 bolts to go thru, they will be a lil big for any Phillips head wood screw. of course you can always paint a dowel with poly resin and shove it into hole and redrill.
