Emerald Coast Poker Run 2014, Destin, FL.
How many planning to go?
Me and another boat will be down there for a long weekend to check out all the hardware, and the floatation devices...
if anyone has any sugestions of where to be on what days for a good views, or meet up spots I am all ears.
We both are VERY familiar with the the area on land and by boat from Orange beach to Destin / Niceville as we go 2 times a year with boats.

I will be there all week for the same reasons, I did the same thing last year we anchored on crab island Sunday, and Saturday we beached the boat across from AJ's. I noticed last year all the boats start arriving Wednesday. They have the boat parade on Thursday I think. Also they have several party's starting Wednesday check out flpowerboat.com they have a list all events for the week. Bottom line anywhere you go will be good times!!

We will be making the trip this year...towing down from Chicago. We grabbed a condo across Destin Harbor from the Emerald Grande...beach on one side, marina w/slip on the other. We will be down for the whole week...arriving on the Sunday before the run. Bigboat28 and jriggs will be joining us. Looking forward to an awesome time on some new waters!

the little islands in the inter coastal between Navarre, and Fort Walton.
Spesifically I have stayed here with some locals one night, on the side of the island and it was a great spot
