Default My heavy 86 Nova 2

I am wanting to experiment with some props here soon right now it has 2 wore out 21p quicksilver something's? Jumps out of the hole very very nicely with a good load of people even and lots of beverages Lol it seems to me that the boat needs some more lift the props don't seem to lift it like she should to me. Top speed isn't the most important to me I haven't GPS speed checked it either but I can easily turn my props to 4,500 ish + rpms any advice on were to start and which one would be great (alpha one drives) thank you all so much!

Mirage plus props should give you plenty of bow lift

Do you have a propeller shop close who will loan or trade around with you to reprop your boat? I like a little more RPM myself. Mirages have a lot of blade. They are great for larger boats. I would try a 21p Mirage. If it's not right, you can get a propeller service to go up 2 pitches and down 2 pitches, so in reality a 21p stainless can be a 23' or a 19' or anything in between. You can also work with the cup on the end of the blades, where they are located on the blades, and how deep you need them. A little time propping out a boat is well worth the effort.

i had a nova 3 350 ish hp per side. ran 23 mirages well. 5200 63 mph best. I would think at 260 hp you are good where you are are at 21. you are in middle of WOT rpm range at 4500. 2 more inches at 21 is just a hair under 10% more pitch. will push rpms down around 450 or so to 4100 or less. engines will be working too hard at any given rpm.
