Default 2004 Cheetah.. How fast

How fast with 525s?... Also... How do they handle at speed? How is the ride?

Had a friend with 500EFI's in his and it did 93, so I would think the 525's would push it 95. The 525/Arneson Cheetah ran 104...

Like any hustler, it's a drivers boat, feel every bump and have to be on the sticks a lot. With that being said it never did anything stupid and always flew straight. Accelerates like a freight train and has a very nimble/sports car type feel to it. The boat ran better over 70mph when you were on top of the water rather than in and out of the waves. I don't know what boats you have driven but if you consider the way a cigarette rides as a Cadillac, the cheetah feels more like a sports car. Hard to explain without driving one.

But in terms of speed vs power, it's a very tough boat to beat and built very well.

95 in fresh water with 525's... Elite Marine on here has a nice one, had 496's, then 500's, then 525's. Definitely great lines and one of the fastest boats in the class.

Take a look at the red one just listed in the classifieds. It is absolutely spotless.

That is the one I was looking at that sparked my interests.. The first one I ever saw was at the Miami boat show in I think 2002. It was really cool. It had these custom bucket seats and I believe it had Arnesons. Very innovative....

You won't find a cleaner one anywhere, period. I've known Cary (the seller) for 30+ years. He is meticulous with everything he has.
