Default 2004 288 Sunsation 280 Trim Tabs

Can some one give me a measurement from the center of boat to inside edge of trim tab ? I have talked to factory but can't get them to give me a number just a pic. Pm mefi you would like I would like to talk to some one with 280 on there 288

What we did was to make a tab mock-up of the 280 tab using cardboard and tape. You can then determine now much trimming you may/will have to do on the 280 tab plate to get it to clear the drive when turning full R&L and full up/down.

Sorry let me add to this I'm installing new tabs on my boat and am looking for a number from the center to inside edge of mounting plate

Ayuh,... The point made above is, Every hull is slightly different, 'n ya don't need a solid number of inches to install yer tabs,....

Just like anything else in a boat, ya fit it, then mount it,.... tabs are No different,....

Mount 'em, as far outboard as possible, for the greatest effect,.....
