Default flywheel for hp500

Is the flywheel off a 454 the same as on a hp500? Another words can i take my flywheel off my 454s and put them on a set of hp500?

it depends on the year,the flywheel from a mark4 is different than a gen5/6.

It is a gen 6 454 and gen 5 502. Do they use the same flywheel?

flywheels are only the same on 5-6 if the motors have forged internals ..otherwords if going from a gen 5-6 310 330 hp the flywheel will not work you need the 1 for forged internals

if its gen5-6 ans 36oz balance it will be ok, otherwise you cannot..

yes,i forgot the cast crank engines use a different flywheel.

If the flywheel is number 805, you are good to go.
