Default zero out tach

I took one of My tachs out to paint the bezel and when I ran boat last weekend, both tachs are now not sitting at zero when engines off, one sits at 800, the other 900. also one is 100 rpm off from the other.. any way to zero these out, they are gaffrigs.. don't understand why just taking one out messed them both up..
