Default what kind of boat is this

Might be able to get this for cheap. Just seeing if any one knows any thing about it.
Hour meter says 100 hours. Boats been sitting under tarp since 07 was winterized. Fresh water use.

The coast guard MIC database indicates the first three letters of the hin (CGN) to be Petit Manan boats, Steuben Mass. The last 2 indicate the year, 1991. I have never heard of that brand of boat before. Lots of $$ to get her back to seaworthy and hard to sell.

Interesting. I can't even find any thing on google about them. By hard to sell do you mean in the condition it's in our even after its fixed up. She's asking 10k but I think I could get it for 7

even free you better have an open wallet. sitting for 8 years that alone can be a lot with just gas tanks if they are junk - just wait to you really get digging into it - OPEN WALLET. Wiring, fuel systems, corrosion, any wood dry or wet rot and probably some rats got into spaces that you would never think of. They love wires to. That's not even including the engines and drives yet.

This hull started in 1988 or 1989 by Century and somewhere along the way Glasstream was in the mix. The company CGM was General Marine Industries out of Panama City FL. in which owned a few boat companies ( Century & Glasstream & ???)

The boat in the pics was manu in June of 1990 for model year 1991.

Back then those companies Glasstream and Century for the I/O brands were always involved in some kind hull changing deals.

If you enjoy working on boats, and don't really care if you actually make it out on the water this could be a fun time. I wouldn't touch it even for free as I'm struggling enough with a perfectly good boat.

I do really enjoy working on boats. I'm in the middle of one now. Almost done with it. I shouldn't get this one but I feel like it's a cool rare boat. And if I can get it cheap I shouldn't pass it up. What y'all are saying is giving me some more confidence about getting it cheap cause it sounds like not many people wanna mess with something like this so if she don't take my offer she may in a few weeks lol. I'm gonna do some more checking Monday off the condition of the wood. She says it ran perfect when the parked it. Any ideas on what engines those are?
