How to tell the difference ?
Those old alpha drives. How can you tell the difference of what generation they are. The one I have off. The trim are that are attached to the upper.. Are mounted at the very back of the fin on the case.

That sounds like a Gen I...Gen II are mounted further forward
Gen II's also have a swept back skeg

The Gen 1 has the lower attached to the upper with studs and nuts, like a Bravo. The Gen 2 Alpha has the lower attached to the upper with nuts and bolts. It is through bolted together.
