So I installed these cmi headers on my 7.4mpi's custom fabricated tails and I used Mr. Gasket copperseal header gaskets thinking they were better than the other options and learned the hard way that they suck. All 4 headers are leaking at the flanges. Now to pull them out and reinstall them with new gaskets is another day or so wasted.

What gaskets do you guys recommend?

Should I go with the extreme duty gaskets they sell at Hardin marine or some regular felpro gaskets from the local auto parts or what do you guys use???

I would use Fel Pro 17440, do not have personal knowledge of using with your style headers

I also just use normal old fel pro exhaust gaskets from the local parts store. $20

Thanks guys I used the felpro 17440 just cuz they say marine. no more leaks!
