Bds blower, what should I torque the bolts to?

Bds blower, what should I torque the bolts to?
So, can't find an answer on the net so I figured someone here would know! I have a bds 8-71 blower and bds says the bolts/studs holding it down should be torqued to 12 ft/lbs. seems low to me. Mine seems to be seeping some fuel after about 5 hours of use. I have a chiller box/intercooler under mine and I'm figuring since bds does not make a cooler and the cooler would obviously effect the temperature and expansion and contraction maybe it should be torqued down tighter!?!? What do you guys think and what are you guys tightening your too? Thanks ahead of time

Hang in there. I bet somebody steps up with some instruction sheet that gives the proper torque with a chiller. Does make sense that with a chiller it should be a bit more. I'm sure the 12 that BDS said is correct for the blower only.

Thanks supermx. It says 10-12 for aluminum. My manifold is aluminum which the studs go from the blower thru the chiller into the manifold. It says 15-18 for steel bolts which I have. It doesn't specify for a chiller. I feel like mine qualifies for both but obviously 12 isn't enough. I'll go with the 18

I think they mean steel bolts and aluminum bolts. It's a given that the manifold and blower are aluminum. So, yes the 18 is what they are saying (without a chiller). With the chiller I would think a couple of pounds more certainly isn't an issue.
