Default 305/350 Conversion issues/concerns

New here, and the search isn't really bringing up my issue anywhere. Im going to dig this ol horse up one more time for you guys. Doing a 305 to a 350/383 conversion in my 95 Z212 Mariah. Just doing some simple planning here and think I hit a road block. My boat has thru hull exhaust, but the "exhaust water" also exits with the exhaust here. I have the Alpha1 drive, and plan to switch to the bravo 1or 3. (not sure which at this time, that's another topic) My question is, with switching to the bravo, what would it take/is it possible to route the " exhaust water" back in the lake via the drive so I can run headers on this thing or am I screwed? Pretty decent with motors after years of asphalt mods but these marine motors have me a little concerned.

Thanks guys!!

Headers still mix exhaust water the same way as stock thru hull exhaust.
