Default 454 mag piston dome cc's

Early 90's 454 mag pistons. Gm std. # 14097021. How many cc's is the dome. I have came across 13.8 cc & 18cc i dont know which one to trust. Trying to math up comp. ratio.

13.8 cc
8.8 compression
4.25 bore
4 stroke
119 cc head
.039 head gasket
4.280 gaskets bore dia
.020 piston to deck height

I believe they would be TRW 2399 pistons. Which are now Sealed Power 2399. With the above spec's.

I cc'd the L2399nf sealed power piston at about 8cc. Multiple times. It is only a .095 dome with a big eyebrow.

The 088 heads cc'd at 121 cc.

My pistons were .025 in the hole.

I would measure rather than go by advertised numbers.

I put it .25 in the hole and filled it to a plexiglass plate with liquid. Took the measured amount and compared it to a calc of the volume (4.29x.25)
