500 EFI valve spring replacement
This has been discussed many times on here however I have not been able to find out what people are using for retainers/locks.
I have a 2000 Formula 400ss with 500 EFI's
I want to replace the springs to be on the safe side and was going to go with the comp cams 929-16 springs but I do not know what retainers/locks to use, I do not know the size of the valve stems. Can anyone help with this or do I have to get into it before I can order parts? Engines are all stocks and original.
Also what is the proper setup once the new springs are installed? Lash, torque, etc.
