Default Question on aftermarket exhaust and risers

Hey guys this might be a dumb question but I might have found a set of Hardin gil replacements with 2 hrs on them for $1,000 (which seems to be a good price). My question is I'm having a hard time finding risers that will fit. Can you take a set of normal bravo set ups and cut them down shorter to make them work with my low exit and my elbows and rubbers or will it cause reversion and other problems? This is the only thing holding me back from buying the manifolds.
