Exclamation older 2500/3500 4x4 gm Caution.

Wife was driving my truck last night and started to back into a driveway, when the left front went through a hole the pitman arm ball joint snapped off. I get all our vehicles checked over once a year at a local front end shop and was about due for this truck.

Four years ago they installed a moog pitman arm due to play in the original gm unit. (He has since stopped installing aftermarket parts unless you bring them to him due to other issues)

After searching I found that moog has a problem with their pitman arms for our applications, so beware

Grrreat. I just put a Moog on my truck not too long ago. I've always considered them as good as factory, but that is scary.

Me too, if you search you will find a lot of broken ones in the dieselplace forum. I went back with GM stock arm
