Default Info on 1986 Larry Smith 26' Scarab

Hi All,
Just bought a 1986 Larry Smith 26' Scarab Kevlar hull - looking for any details - brochures - specs - has a belly tank - just don't know how big - it has BBC and Bravo one running gear sitting on a aluminum I-beam trailer - previous owner used to run it at SF Offshore series and Lake Tahoe - I think his first name was George??? As I understand - these were 'one-off' builds so details may not have been very standard - this has the typical two front bucket seats, rear bench - clean hull - no stress cracks and soft floors - still digging around it to get familiar with just what I bought LOL!
Thanks!

Thanks - looking forward to getting this back on the water - the hull # is: SQE101150486 Realized it has two saddle tanks, but the center area between the stringers is capable of putting in a belly tank - so I'm on the hunt for one - I'll keep ya'lls posted - Thanks!

Found this in a old thread. who's going to resurrect George Werner's 1986 Team Scarab 26? She was originally Evinrude powered and Werner named her Kwik-Way. Later on she got renamed Made-In-The-USA and converted to I/O. This is the 2nd Team Scarab 26 made and definitely a cool boat. Price is right and I hope she finds a good home.

When it was raced, was this boat white with two in-line seats vs side by side?

Great info Yup it's George's old boat I have a picture of him running it SF Bay with the outboard Transom appears to be solid however the transom assembly will need to be replaced hinge pin has alot of play. Previous owner bought it from George (bay area) about 2 years ago parked it on their property near Santa Cruz under a tarp until I bought it pretty friggin COOL boat!!

T31 was right the first time it was the 5th 26 produced by team Scarab, I have the hand written list of all of the HIN #s from 1984 on, that Warren Robbins had for all the boats they built.
