Heres a couple interesting articles. In this "shootout" , from 3000rpm to 6500rpm, the smaller heads seemed to do nothing for torque, or HP. The fully CNC darts, didn't make much more than some of the "as cast" heads that cost a hell of a lot less money. The 325 AFR's, had a CNC chamber upgrade. They all made good power, except for the edelbrocks, they lagged quite a bit. Aside from that, not much difference in power between the rest of them. The best head, the AFR and DART CNC, made about 20hp more than the RHS 320. Which is the same casting as the engine quest 320. Those were as cast out of the box. Now, take that casting, have a guy like JIMV, do some cleanup work, and you're there with a CNC dart, with prob a couple grand leftover for gas.

AFR 300 made 611 FT lbs average from 3500-6500, and 587ft lbs at 4000. It had nearly 3/4 to full point more compression than the other heads it was up against. The 332 brodix made 594 avg, and 572 ft lbs at 4000. The 335 dart made 717hp, the afr 300 made 729. But again, the AFR had a 110cc chamber, the dart a 121 chamber. Give those dart 335's another point in compression, and they would have made more power than the 300 ovals probably from 3500-6500. This was on a 496ci mill. Do that test on a 565ci, and it probably really favor the darts. What really funny, is the chitty pro comp chinaman heads, made 690HP, and pretty darn good avg torque. Might be why Tim Full force gained a fat zero, by going from some 565's with pro comp heads that had some work by gellner, to the afr 325 heads, on a 540ci. Those 320 procomps he had, were prob real close performance wise to those 325 AFR's, Im almost 100% positive the procomps were direct copies of the RHS 320/360 heads. Pretty easy to tell by looking at the rocker stud mounting bosses. Knock out 25 cubes, and well, there you have it.
Anyway, just some good bar talk.

Getrdunn, good read for the crapper . 883hp from a short deck 572 at 6500rpm? With a single 4 barrel 1150? 750 ft lbs? BS or legit?
