Default Thermostat housings

Anyone used the mpi version on a carb? Seems like it would be fine. They are much cleaner looking than the carb one.

Look at say the hp500. Has a tall convoluted one. The mpi one is low profile and comes forward.

If you are referencing the one I show below, most definitely have used them in carb'd applications

Edit in: make sure the thermostat spacer is installed in correct orientation if you install one of these. It is a water diverter too, so very improtant.

That's the one. Thanks. Much cleaner look. However I'm going powdercoated. Lol

Just between me and you Bob Madera helped design that one, you should be good to go there . Best housing on the market .
I`d ask if you can powdercoat it thou, might throw off the thermal stabilization of the metal.

That's a nice looking piece. It's always a shame to put ordinary rubber hose and crappy automotive hose clamps on it though, lol. Is there a nicer clamp set up between the cheap hose clamps and fancy stainless steel lines?
