Does anyone know what the aftermarket part numbers /brands for the Merc sea water pump seals/ bearings? My oe pump is 46-807151A8 which is the standard one with the mechanical fuel pump on top (now suffering the same old problems of fuel leaking from a bad fuel pump which toasted the seals)I'm planning on ordering a complete hosing from Moore performance (takes a week to get) but wanted to replace the seals & bearings in the old one to try and use the boat this weekend. I know there were several threads here on it, yet can't find any with part numbers for the seals and bearings aftermarket. The Mercury gods want too much for some basic seals and bearings.

Oh and the last pump i rebuilt for a friend i used full contact bearings....then i took one of the seals off each bearing and cleaned out all the grease....then installed the bearings with the seals to the outside....so now you have a bearing seal and the shaft seal keeping the oil inside....been running like that for almost 3 years without issue

Oh one other thing while your at it...if you have the tools then do yourself a favor a drill and tap a drain plug under the fill port....helps in changing the oil when you need to

Thanks guys this is what I was looking for. I seem to s@$k at the search feature on here could find how to do it just no part numbers. Definitely doing the drain hole deal and trying the Airtex fuel pump. Mercury prices are absolutely crazy on this stuff.
