Default Mich noise level ?

I recently made the switch from stock exhaust to Stainless Marine. With this switch I know I inccreased my noise level. I checked it our today and I am running around 93-94 dB at approx 3ft from the transom. I was wondering if any of you who boat on Lk St Clair have had any issues with the local authorities pertaining to noise levlels.

THX

I've heard that a coalition of Macomb County Sheriff dept, Coast Guard and State Police have been pulling guys over at Metropolitan Beach and checking noise with a meter...and they told a few people that the 2003 season would see more enforcement on it. Of course, they're also sending dogs thru the boats sniffing for cannibus and sticking PBT's in the driver's mouth at will..so who knows if things will get even tougher on us here. I avoid Metro Beach like the plague for those reasons. Don't have any empty beercans on board and you will probably not get a ticket for the exhause.
