Default HP500EFI's at 200 hours: anything special need to be done?

Is this just another 100 hour service time. I thought I saw something about the HP500EFI needing the top end redone at 200?

Thanks!

depends on year ,most of the time the springs get weak at 125 to 175 hrs like Lapse said depends on how hard you beat it !!

I'd throw some on if it was mine anyway it may save you some lifters ect. ,,,good luck

PhantomChaos,

You know, I think at 200 hrs, it's necessary to supercharge them

I was just sitting in the bathroom looking at the latest PowerBoat Mag thinking the same thing. Not sure if I have the time before the SCOPE poker run. Do my best thinking and decisions while in there.

Doing the service now....not that many hours last year. How much should this run (250 hour service). Touch up valves, replace sprinigs ect ect ect.
