I tried Merc. but it tells me that I need to consult a Dealer.
What I'm trying to do is see what a 1.87 and 1.50 gear ratio
will do with my 27pitch props. my boat came with Bravo III drives with 1.87 ratio and 28p props, (not a performance set up) so I bought a set of bravo I lowers with nose cones an 27p props.
The boat manufacture says they normally put Bravo I 1.50 ratio gears with 27p props. I don't want to change gears in my stock drives. I may have to get a set of uppers and try. Any advice?
