Trim Cylinders?
Noticed last night while installing a new drive that the drive trim cylinders were opperating at different speeds. One ram actually stopped moving. Im thinking there is air in the system. How do I go about bleeding this out?
It moves with the drive in place and the rams hooked up but I dont want to force it so I didnt move it much. Will this work out itself or will I damage it. Do I have to bleed the system?

I had the same thing on mine, I think it's normal. When disconnected from the drive one would always push/pull way more than the other. I think it's because they are parralleled on the hydraulic circuit and one just happens to be easier to cycle. The other one just sits still. Once you put some force on the one that is moving the other one would then move.
If you have to bleed them the manual says to crack the flair nut on each end to bleed but you have to do it ina specific sequence. If you need the directions I could fax them to you.

Thanks for the feedback.
Do you think I need to bleed it? It works with the drive in place and the rams attached Im just affraid Im putting stress on the drive and twisting it.

I did not need to bleed mine and they worked fine all last season. I am pretty sure yours is fine too.
For a test put the ram on the drive that moves and leave the other one off. I bet the one that was not moving freely will now move once you hit the button. If it does it should be OK If it still sticks there could be something wrong inside.
