looking for the specs for a 496
I am looking for a web site with the complete break down of a 496 marine engine. I want to find out how they are assembled and what the cam, piston valve, fuel injection and ignition specs are.

Hot boat,
If you're looking for a 496, let me know. I have a bunch of low hour (under 36 hrs.) 496's for sale. I can tell you that GM uses Hypereutectic pistons 7/16's rods and Nitrated nodular iron rolled fillet cranks in them. The set up is supposed to be good for up to 600 hp. They make over 500 lb/ft in stock trim also.
Talk to you later,
