Default Vibration when in gear

I went out today, and rode for about two hours. When we were coming into the dock I noticed a vibration with a little bit of a knock. I took it out of gear and it went away. Then I put it back into gear and it started again. So I know it is outdrive related. When I pulled the boat out I looked at the outdrive and it has some marks on the skeg and a few on the prop. I spun the prop and everything seemed to spin okay with no noise. I was wondering if the prop was bent a little would it make this happen, or is it something in the outdive itself. Any help would be appreciated.

Default Knocking in outdrive

Jeff, good talking to you tonight ,sorry about the mishap. Check the prop shaft like we discussed and oil level in drive. run the stock 25 and see what happens ,hopefully its just the prop,is the skeg straight or was it just scuffed? also if the prop is bent it still should not have any knocking noise? this would normaly cause the vibration only/good Luck.talk to you later Darin
