Default adding mph = frustration

When I bought my modded 502 baja it did 71 mph. The motor was done in 93 and didnt have any real tuneup or hours since. I added new wires , cap , plugs , carb job . It was better running but not faster. Took of the nasty iron maniflods and added gils. Runs better , pulls harder and goes 72mph. This years I put in a hi energy comp cam and roller rockers. It now pulls much harder and goes 73. It already had heads ,intakeand a 800 holley on it when I bought it. I was REALLY hoping to run past 75+ with this latest change. Im still using a stk 23" mirage and pulling 5400. Im good till 5800 , should i lab the 23 or lab a 25 mirage? Thanx sj

I would probably try a 25 Mirage before labbing the 23. Then decide which prop to get labbed.
