Default Low {er} oil pressure ?

One of my motors is running lower oil pressure...Still good..just
lower..60 vs 80.......Also it just sounds differant than it did..
hard to explain...looking for what to start checking.

If you had a beak boat that oil pressure would be fine ,,na,,always check it with a mech. gauge ,,electrics aren't much more than and idiot light ,let me know!

Beak Boat !1 LOL !!!
I should have said...Gaffrig Mechanical guage.......
Thanks for any ideas..where to start looking...

Be sure the oil is the same you have used in the past and that the pan is full. Check temps. If all this is good, take the oil filter off and cut it open. Use a hammer and sharp chisel or a cutter, not a hack saw. Check for metal particles. If you find any, call bobby!! If clean, post what you found.

I put 20w50 in for the spring...Had straight 50 in both motors before...just the one is lower...I wish both where..I'd blame it on oil !! {LOL}
I have a cutter,I will try that first {fingers crossed}

OK.....How about this ! Filter looked Ok but oil looked Very thin &
smelled of gas...checked level & it was up !
I had problems fouling plugs 1rst time out this year. fiddled around with carbs & it is Ok now...I think a needle stuck or something over the winter..You think that could be it ? Drop pressure 20 lbs ?
I am of course going to change it & go back to straight weight oil.
If it would ever stop raining i could at least test it.

Ok.....changed the oil......back to straight 40 Racing
Still lower....60lbs vs 80lbs
And I just can't put a finger on it but.......It sounds Diff ??
I am afraid to ask !!!

the multi is the way to go !!! have you cut the filter and checked with meck. gauge ???

I have Gaffrig MECH guages.....
I cut the filter........nothing...
