KAAMA hydralic steering rams

Anyone out there able to fill me in on the KAAMA steering rams and how to rebuild one. A buddy has a leaker on his F302 KAAMA Formula and there isn't one local shop that hasn't freaked when they got a look at it. Typical reaction to anything KAAMA. Can we do this ourselves? Anyone know parts or part sources. Can't be much to them. Just a couple seals and o-rings is my guess. but my pal isn't brave enough to break one apart until we have some solid info. (It's still servicable now) Anybody done this repair before?
