Default Ford Dually front wheel bearing preload?

I was replacing the front brake rotors on my 92 F-350 yesterday and upon reassembly I realized I did not know how tight to make the axle nut that holds the wheel bearings in place. A call to a friend not necessarily familar with Ford pickups suggested 25 ft-lbs then back off 1/8 turn and install the cotter pin. Can anyone confirm this?
