Unhappy cooked my exhaust - help!

I had a problem with my H20 intake and cooked my exhaust system.

The exhaust diverters got so hot that the powdercoating melted and nearly started a fire.
my tubular headers are fine, but the flappers in the tips had the rubber melted off them.

They now rattle!

As this rather sucks, I am trying to replace the rubber with a comparable material.

any suggestions?

I believe they are Corsa tips.

also, the rod that passes through the exhaust tips and has the 'flappers' hinged on it, had a plastic sleeve on it, this seperated the metal rod from the metal flappers. This too is fubar!

I know it's a long sad story, but any suggestions?

If they are Corsa tips, then the SS internal flappers are coated with silicone bead around the edges.
