ok....do you hear any "clicking" in the engine compartment when you press the button?
Yes= then you are getting power to the solenoids...check the power supply to the motor and check you ground......if both check out you can try "tapping" on the motor body with the handle of a screwdriver or something to see if it free's up. if not then most likely the motor went south.
If No clicking then you have a power supply problem......will take a little longer to figure out but start at teh pump and then work your way to the switch....should take more then i'd say 1/2 hour depending on how easy it is it get at everything....hope that helps

Yeah what wally said!
You can also directly jump your motor with cables from your battery to check the switch. If it works then you know your problem is somewhere between the pump and the switch.

I had is problem last year. We found that all it was, was the in line fuse was blown. The fuse is in a black fuse holder right on the trim pump. Always check the simple stuff first. Power and ground, then go to the switch. This year I had a problem with the switch in the shifter. The down worked but the up did not so I use the trailer button. But it's all fine now. New switch fixed that.
