Reverse Lock valve
can i eliminate this??? from what i understand its purpose is to keep the drive from kicking up when transmission is in reverse......
i've been told that a newer style trim pump does NOT require a reverse lockout valve... just trying to confirm what i've been told.... any info on how this works will be greatly appreciated.... thx X

Yes, Oildyne pump does not require reverse lock, just run the 2 hoses from the drive directly to the pump.

Yes, that is an Oildyne. You might need adapters to go from the original #3 inverted flare to the #4 that is used on the later pumps.
