I used comp on my last motor and never again. According to CP Performance they said it was comp cams fault that it took 6 weeks to get my cam after I was told a week the day I placed the order. When it finally showed up the rollers lifters where wrong and the push rods where also to short.

Yep, I'm running an Extreme Energy flat lifter cam very similar to the Extreme Marine line and have had no problems. Ran for about 20 hours in a 350 and now its in a 383.
But, my 383 builder said he'd seen a lot of XE cams with wiped lobes and wished me luck. Also, he refused to use comp cam springs.
