Default Part Help - need old style trip pump reservoir with single bolt through bottom

I have an oildyne pump reservoir that is cracked and I need a new one. I have been told that they are no longer available through Mercruiser. This is the same pump that is sold to trim every bravo drive. I need the old style reservoir with a single bolt that holds it on from the bottom. The newer style has four bolts that holds in on from the top. I don't know if my pump has the 4 tabs or not. I will check soon. I just thought that someone has to have a few of these pumps sitting around.

Thanks!

Steve

Good Luck. I know it's mickey mouse but I have used Marine Goop to seal those cracks and it works great. Make sure its really clean if you try it.

Thanks Formula31. I may just try that. I don't have marine goop, but I wonder if 3M 5200 will work? It sticks to everything and I don't think oil will affect it.

Merc makes a retrofit kit but it is almost the cost of a new pump!
My pump was made in 1991. The new style bottle fits everything 1992 and later. Figures........

Biggus - thanks, I will see if Sierra makes the old style reservoir.

mrv8outboard - How did you attach them??? My tank and the new tank look the same. However, my tank mounts with a single screw going up the center from the bottom. The new style tank looks the same, but it mounts with 4 screws from the top. My pump is one year too old to have a place for the 4 screws. I don't have the 4 holes on the mounting plate. After 1992, the holes were provided.

Thanks!

Thanks guys. I just ordered 3 new ones. ( I have three pumps, it is probably a matter of time before the other two go)

Thanks!
