Don't do it.

Search Ebay for a replacement stainless prop. Go for a Mirage or Mirage plus. I see them go regularly for $175 on ebay.

I have a new design of Stainlees propellers that are very reasonable for Stainless Steel. A 3 Blade runs $225.00 with the interchangable hub system that utilizes Merc Flo Torq Hub Kits! The blade design is similar to that of the Mirage!

Julie,

That's a great price. Are you talking about what used to be called typhoon?(I'm currently running one) Or is this a whole different line? I'd be interested in some information. Feel free to PM me the different models and prices available in this line.

Julie,

also need info.
Friend needs a 17 pitch for a Yamaha 85 (uses same gearcase size as inline 6 merc). Mirage style blade will work well on his little flats boat.

mcollins,
I have a 17" Ballistic that would probably work well for your friend. It came off of an Alpha so don't know if it would fit. Let me know if you're interested.
