Default How high above the water line should your exhaust be?

What is the min. acceptable height for the bottom of your risers to be above the water line? I am boating in the ocean and often stop and float in areas were there will be swells.

Thanks
Jon

Minimum 15 inches to the TOP of the exhaust header elbow. (This is from the HP500EFI Install Manual)

hey Audiofn -
You ever get that boat over to the Madfish, or the Studio, or Wingaersheek, Brace's Cove or the Greasy Pole, or even Annisquam Market? . . . Back side of Cranes?

Just checkin. I miss the Rock (Gloucester).
